BAE only works if every member feels safe enough to be honest. These guidelines aren't fine print — they're the agreement we make with one another. By joining, you agree to uphold them.
Lead with respect
Treat every member with dignity and good faith. We come from many cities, backgrounds, and walks of life. Disagree thoughtfully, never personally.
Protect each other's privacy
What's shared in the community stays in the community. Don't share another member's name, location, story, or contact details outside BAE without their clear permission.
No screenshots without permission
Do not screenshot or repost conversations, profiles, or member content anywhere outside the community without explicit consent from the people involved.
No hate speech or harassment
Racism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, harassment, and personal attacks have no place here. This is a zero-tolerance rule.
No spam or self-promotion dumps
Share resources and businesses where they're genuinely helpful — but don't flood the community with ads, links, or unsolicited pitches.
Look out for member safety
If something feels off, say something. Report concerns to the team. We'd always rather you flag it than stay silent.
Enforcement
We take these guidelines seriously. Depending on the situation, violations may result in a warning, removal of content, or revoked membership without a refund. Member safety always comes before anyone's comfort with being held accountable. If you ever feel unsafe or witness a breach, please contact the team.
